Don't let the name fool you, we use this RIO Flurorcarbon leader material in both freshwater and saltwater fly fishing. Fluorocarbon tippet material is a little stiffer and more abrasion resistant than monofilament tippet material. Fluorocarbon tippets also are less visible in the water. This helps when fly fishing clear water. this is a very popular material for saltwater fly fishing leaders. The larger sizes are good for muskie leaders as the fluorocarbon is more bite proof than mono. If you fish muskies with conventional gear the 80 and 100 pound fluorocarbon leader material works great as a muskie leader material for clear lakes or trolling.

All spools are 30 yards.

Great variety of slat water gear to round out my equipment for my 1st saltwater adventure to the Yucatan. Unfortunately, Covid happened. Looking forward to when travel resumes I can use the gear!
