Flat Stanley

The Flat Stanley is a very unique gamefish fly. It is tied with a flat profile and imitates a wounded or dying baitfish struggling on the surface. It is articulated for even more natural action. To fish the Flat Stanley cast it out and retrieve it slowly across the surface with occasional pauses to imitate a baitfish struggling. Experiment with other retrieves. Also keep in mind these flies will work in moving water too.
