Bank Walker

Jeff White's Bank Walker fly from Umpqua is a killer, stealthy slider baitfish pattern for when fish need a slightly more subtle topwater presentation than poppers, etc.  Killer river smallmouth fly!

"The Bank Walker was developed to target smallmouth bass corralling baitfish against the banks on the Susquehanna River. They sometimes feed with reckless abandon and poppers work well. Other times the fish can be a bit spooky and a more subtle presentation works better. A slider gives the subtleness needed but still has the thrill of a topwater eat. Since we love surface eats it was inevitable that we would throw it for trout on the Delaware System in both high water and low light where it worked well, especially at night in leu of the traditional mouse patterns."
