UTC 280 Denier Ultra Thread is a great fly tying thread for large flies when tying on large amounts of hair and synthetic fibers and for attaching dumbbell eyes or any fly tying that a large, strong tying thread is needed. UTC 280 Denier Ultra Thread is a favorite fly tying thread for large muskie flies and for large saltwater fly patterns. With an approximate breaking strength of #4 it is recommended for hook sizes #2 to #6/0.

The ultra thread 280 Denier worked perfectly for my fluke teasers and my striper candy lures. I originally had tried 3/0 thread, but was too thin and would break every time i tried to make a teaser. I will definitely order from again.
