Solarez Flex is what you want if you need a resin that stays flexible. great for soft bodied poppers, shrimp patterns and many other uses.
Usage tip:
Apply in shade. Irradiate with intense UV light for FIVE SECONDS. Wait 15 seconds. Irradiate again for FIVE SECONDS. Wait. Do this a few cycles. Complete with 2 minutes continuous UV light. This technique will reduce heat & shrinkage. The FLEX formula requires more light than the THIN, MEDIUM or THICK. This technique will reduce heat & shrinkage
Solarez comes in:
Thin-Hardfor coatings on large head thread wraps, poppers and anywhere you want the resin to coat and soak into the materials or thread.
Thick-Hardis a very viscous formulawhen you you want to build up heads or bodies. The viscous formula is easier to work with and shape before hitting with the UV light.
FLEX will give you a flexible finish for use with things like soft popper bodies to give a nice finish or to seal in paint and markings on a flexible body.This formula also can be used to smooth out knots on leaders and line to help going through the guides. Flex is also a viscous material.
GLOW IN THE DARK is a viscous formula that can be charged with a light to glow in the dark. Put a spot on Hex flies to help see them at night or use on poppers and streamers for night fishing.
Bone-Drycomes in a in a Plus and Ultra-Thin formula as well as colored variations. Perfect for things such as wing casings on smaller nymphs or covering quills bodies on dry flies, as well as covering up thread wraps to finish off a fly. This family of Solarez UV Resigns dries "Bone-Dry" meaning no tacky residue that requires to being wiped off with alcohol, leaving a hard, smooth clear finish.
Available in 4 different sizes, 5 gram, 1/2 oz, 2 oz. and 4 oz. If you use a lot of these resins in your tying the larger bottles are much more economical.
