Stonfo Thread Splitter

The Stonfo Thread Splitter will easily allow you to split fly tying thread to use the split tying thread dubbing technique. This technique incorporates inserting fibers or dubbing in between the split fly tying thread fibers and then spinning the thread to lock in the fibers or dubbing. To use the Stonfo Thread Splitter simply lay the thread in the slot of the tool and push the plunger. The super fine point of the tool will separate the thread fibers allowing you to insert the fibers or dubbing.

You will have the easiest time using the Stonfo Thread Splitter by using a flat fly tying thread like Ultra Thread 140, Flymaster Plus 140,  Flymaster Plus 210 or Veevus Power Thread 140 and Veevus Power Thread 210.
