We were never really a fan of neoprene booties for fishing the flats. It was too easy to step on something like an urchin that would ruin more than your day. That changed when the Simms Zipit Bootie showed up. These flats booties are light, easy to get on and off and features a puncture-free bottom. They pack easy too. If you need a lot of ankle support you may want the Simms Flats Sneaker but if you're looking for a lightweight, easy on and off bootie the Simms Zipit Flats Bootie is it.
- Easy on/easy off saltwater wet wading shoe with gusseted zipper opening & YKK® locking corrosion-resistant zipper
- Perforated neoprene upper with vulcanized rubber overlays for additional durability
- Durable vulcanized rubber outsole & molded EVA sockliner & full length Bi-Fit™ lasting board for puncture resistance
- Designed to be worn barefoot or with a light liner sock; order straight shoe size or nearest whole size up
- Men's whole sizes: 8 - 14, Width: EE
- Approximate pair weight: 36.8 oz

This is my second pair of these excellent boots. Returning home from fishing last week I threw the boots up in my Crescent Crew kayak on top of my SUV. I recall hitting a few train tracks a little hard but thought nothing of it. Got home and one boot was gone. That sucked. I’ve had zero trouble with these and I’ve walked on plenty of oyster beds that with a lesser quality boot you could be in some trouble.
I wear 11.5-12 in most shoes. A 12 in these fit perfect. From now on boots will go inside the SUV.
