The Abel TR fly reel is back. While the Abel TR stays with the same DNA, the TR now features a beautifully striking modern design and feel. Designed by the expert machinists of Abel in Montorse, Colorado the TR features an integrated precision-balanced clicker on the spool eliminating the need of a counterbalance. This gives the TR a neat, clean look while retaining the iconic click and pawl sound. There is a specially shaped palming rim for more control when needing to add a little more drag instantly. There is a large arbor spool that eliminates line memory and adds in retrieving speed. There is also beautiful engravings on the inside of the frame that is only found in Abel fly reels.
