The unique vented disc design generates a controlled vortex in the water, allowing soft materials like marabou, ostrich, and synthetic fibers to pulse and breathe freely instead of collapsing in heavy current. The venting also reduces water resistance, helping flies lift off the water more easily for the next cast.
