Maximum sun protection. Minimal interference.
The Skwala Sol Tropic Sun Gloves take a minimalist approach to warm-weather hand protection, giving anglers the coverage they need without putting unnecessary material between their hands and their fishing gear. Built with UPF 40+ sun protection, these lightweight fly fishing gloves help shield the backs of your hands from prolonged UV exposure during long days on the water.
Instead of traditional fabric-covered fingers and palms, Skwala uses low-profile elastic finger straps and an open-palm design for direct contact with your rod grip, reel, and fly line. The ultralight polyester knit fabric keeps bulk to a minimum while an antimicrobial finish helps resist odor buildup, making these sun gloves comfortable for everything from hot summer river days to tropical saltwater fishing.
The Sol Tropic Sun Gloves provide sun protection without taking away the natural feel of fishing barehanded. The open palms and minimalist finger straps maintain excellent grip, sensitivity, and dexterity while still protecting the areas of your hands most exposed to the sun. For anglers who dislike the bulky feel of traditional fishing gloves, this streamlined design is a smart alternative.
