Hareline Teal Flank Feathers

Teal flank feathers have long been a favorite fly tying feather for salmon and steelhead fly tiers. These feathers can be married for classic salmon fly wings and are often used for collars and veiling. They are used for Spey and Dee style flies as well. If you are a trout fly tier, try them for upright divided wings on your dry flies. The fine barring found on teal make beautiful dry fly wings.
