SA Absolute leader material is made with proprietary copolymer blends that drastically reduces water absorption while still keeping an optimal suppleness for high knot strength. This fly fishing tippet has a 29% higher wet knot strength compared to SA's previous material and up to 40% higher wet knot strength when compared to competitors.

Scientific Anglers Absolute leader material is a strong, medium stiff monofilament that's fantastic for building both freshwater and saltwater fly fishing leaders. This general purpose fly fishing leader material can be used to build leaders or as a heavy monofilament tippet for abrasive species like pike, muskies, tarpon and GTs. All spools are 50m and feature a unique open-hub spool design for easy dispensing and low memory.
