For the brightest results, build a smooth white or light-colored thread underbody before wrapping Neon UNI-Floss. Because trilobal polyester can be slightly translucent, a clean underbody helps the neon color stay vivid instead of darkening when wet.
Use light, steady tension and smooth touching wraps for the cleanest finish. On smaller hooks, split the floss into individual plies to reduce bulk and create a finer body. To keep the strands manageable, tie a small overhand knot at the end of your working length while it is still attached to the spool.
