The TPU-based synthetic woven upper keeps overall weight down while standing up to repeated abuse from gravel bars, brush, and boat decks. A molded rubber toe wrap and abrasion panels add critical protection where wading boots take the most hits, helping prevent premature wear in high-impact zones.

Underfoot, comfort and stability come from a high-cushion dual-density EVA midsole that supports long approaches and reduces fatigue during all-day wades. The outsole—Vibram® Idrogrip with Traction Lug—is engineered to optimize stability while walking and wading in water, giving you sure-footed control when every step matters.

For even more bite in slick or technical conditions, the Flyweight outsole is compatible with Simms Hardbite and Alumibite Star Cleats, plus Hardbite cleats/studs, so you can customize traction to match your riverbed and season.
