Smaller and lighter than the standard Flymen Articulated Shanks, Flymen Micro Shanks designed by Greg Senyo is an easy solution to tying small articulated trout flies, low-water steelhead flies and even small salmon traditional salmon flies. These shanks are small enough to attach right to hook sizes as small as a #10 hook. They are ultralight and super-strong allowing you to use them on dry fly patterns too. Flymen Micro Shanks are made of stainless steel so you can use them on small saltwater flies for bonefish too.

Hooks can be attached in 2 ways.
1. They can be connected directly to the rear loop to form a fixed articulated joint.
2. They can be connected using a wire loop to create a free-swinging stinger hook. Senyo Thin Intruder Wire for hooks #6 and under are ideal.
