The Gen-X Bunny fly pattern is the evolution of Barry Reynold's original Pike Fly that features an ultra premium Tiemco 600SP hook and a flexible but stiffer support underneath the bunny strip near the hook to prevent fouling on the hook. This is a classic pike fly fishing fly that is also great for a variety of other predators.

Mr. Ehlers:
Gear was fine but fish were in 20 - 40 feet of water so not really fly accessible. This was my mistake. Was a bit surprised that some of the large streamer flies tended to float and others were able to get deeper with the sinking fly line. First time trying this so I learned some things. A lot of work to get those big flies out 60-70 feet on that sinking line. Rigged all the flies on Seaguar 30lb fluoro with 20lb wire tippet and a perfection loop for quick changing and that all worked well with the big flies. I will keep trying and hope to hook into one someday. Thanks.
