INTERMEDIATE TYING CLASS: WARMWATER SYNTHETICS

mid sun1Synthetic materials have revolutionized fly tying in the last couple of decades. This intermediate workshop  will explore their usefulness when combined with natural materials for tying durable freshwater and saltwater patterns. We will be emphasizing the construction of flies for different depth profiles, including: surface, near surface and sinking.  Patterns introduced in this workshop include the Gurgler, “Puglisi” style baitfish and a bottom-bouncing jig-fly pattern.

FLY CASTING CLASSES

 

Our spring fly casting lessons are coming up on April 24th and 25th.  Each day holds a morning and afternoon session; 9am - 12pm (Morning) and 1pm - 4pm (Afternoon).  Each session is $50 and every class includes a $50 gift certificate good for any purchase $250 or more at The Fly Fishers. 

We normally hold our scheduled fly casting classes in the spring but we do lessons all year long. Call Pat to schedule a lesson. We can do classes for one or we can accomodate large groups as well.
