Large Foam Cylinders for fly tying come in 9 different sizes from 1/4" to 1 1/4" in diameter and 10 great colors and can be used for everything from panfish poppers to large saltwater poppers. Use these fly tying foam cylinders to create great bass poppers, pike flies and even large top-water flies for muskies too. Easy to use, we simply cut the cylinder to the length needed, heat a needle and poke a hole through the length of the cylinder to accommodate the hook shank, wrap the hook shank in fly tying thread, coat the thread with super glue, insert the hook through the cylinder and in seconds it will bond with the foam. You can also add fly tying eyes to these for more realism. You can color them with Prismacolor Marking Pens too.

Cylinders are 1.6" long.

1/4" thru 7/16" 6 per pack.

Solid foam

Foam is a little hard to insert legs in, bit works well. If you get a little drill you can drill into it a little bit and make poppers.

I wanted to try the EP fibers for clouser minnows. Being this stuff has a translucency to it,I thought it would be great for imitations in my local waters. I just need to see what the smallmouth think.
